The same is true in reverse.Worst case scenario he's not into you and you can get over it.

 Why are you having sex with your ex. It sounds like unfinished business. You two are clearly not finished. Speak to him. Tell him how you feel. If he says there is nothing in it get out of it. Try not to have sex with anyone and less you know its genuine or else you will find yourself being used and will feel really bad out the situation and yourself and you will start to gain a reputation.
