writes:Hi, im 17 and lost my virginity 2 days ago, it was protected sex as he wore a condom. It hurt when while having sex and i bled a little but afterwards i felt fine. But the day after i felt a little sick and bloated and i still feel like that today. Is that anything to do with losing my virginity? I am also a bit ill atm as i have tonsilitis could it be that? Or am i just being paranoid as it was my first time? please help should i be worried?

if you r really concerned, go see a doctor - but i would say it's prob the tonsilitis. i would wait a little before panicing myself.
so relax, it's prob nothing to worry about and stressing urself out it NOT going to help!

No panic. Tonsilitis is notorious for making you sick. My daughter vommited with it, the doctor said its normal it upsets the tummy.
It was normal to bleed a little. You haven't done any harm.

 You played it safe for your first time and thats excellent, and i really do not think that you feeling ill has got anything atal to do with you losing your virginity.
I would put it down to this bout of tonsilitis you are having, in a few days this will clear up and you will be as right as rain.

reader, anonymous, writes (30 August 2007): well.. if you have tonsilitus its probably that. i mean if you used protection and nothing broke (condom splitting) then you wont be pregnant or anything. also, if your period is due you can get bloated and feel sick before that happens. so i dont think you should worry too much, you deffinaltely aint pregnant unless the condom split or w/e, and its either ur tonsilitus or ur menstrual cycle cmoing. dont worry chick x

 You are most likely nervous because it was your first time. So long as you had safe sex you will be fine. I would say your bout of tonsilitis is the reason you feel ill.
Visit your doctor if your symptoms do not leave after a few days, but so long as you are fine in other ways, you dont have anything to concern yourself with.
