If shes's 10-12, she might not really understand "love" yet, and when you said you liked her, she really probly wasn't ready for that yet, and she might get annoyed and just want some alone time, if this is so, wait it out a few more years, then try again. Now, if she's 13-16, she might have a boy friend, and shes annoyed cause all she wants to ttalk to is her boy friend, and nothing else, and all other boys that talk to her will annoy her, but don't worry, that is normal for a girl of that age. She may be playing Hard-to-Get, this is a thing girls will "play" to get you to like them more and get you to try harder. Now she might just be saying, get away from me now, in a mean way. She might hate you considering she said it, but her friends might of told her differently, and she will take her best friends side over anyone elses, so try to become her friends friends. Ifs shes 17-25, shes an adult now, she made up her own mind, and probably doesnt like you, sorry. Dude, dont give up hope, try your very hardest, and you'll find the right gilr someday, and hey, it might be her.

how old is she? Are you wondering that she starts being mean to you since you said you liked her. In my opion, only hs girls begin being mean to people that like them; an adult won't do that. If she says bad stuff bout you to her friends, it means that she's not interested in you. Girls are more emotional; they won't do that to the one they love.
Stop caring about her, then she will wonder why you suddently change your attitude. Then, you will see whether she likes you or not.
Be strong, you're a great man. I know how much you care about this girl. Good luck
