We've been seeing each other for about 8/9 months, and I feel like this is a serious relationship..however he's brought up doing sexual activities, because he's says he really loves me (wants to get married some day) and thinks we're ready for the next step.. problem is: he has genital warts...I don't think I can deal with someone who has an STD...I don't want it...Have I already been exposed to it by kissing him?

You haven't been exposed to genital warts. However, you have done the right thing in NOT sleeping with him. Genital warts can be removed, but that doesn't necessarily kill the virus. You might not get it, but it's better not to try your (bad) luck, don't you think?
Go to a doctor because he or she could inform you better. But the rule of thumb is, don't sleep with anyone who has a STD. By the way, he did the right thing in telling you.

I'm pretty sure you can't get genial warts through kissing. You can only get it through sexual contact. If you've only been kissing him, you probably don't have it.
