A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

i dont know what to do i have been out with this boy about 4 times and ive liked him ever since, he dumped me because we argued but it wasnt like argueing to be honest, it was about stupid things he dont really take things seriously and i have told him that i like him, how do i make him like me or mention to him that i would like to get back with him, my enemy is after him aswell which is really difficult because she is really pretty, has braces and is quite skinny.

Me and this boy were really close though, and he really did act like he liked me?

what should i say or tell him?

Thanks

tennisstar88 agony auntYou can't make someone like you, dear. You've been out with him 4 times meaning you guys have been boyfriend/girlfriend 4 times and and broke up 4 times or you had 4 dates? At your age, no guy wants to stick around with a girl he argues with. It's only when you get older that you need to pick and choose your battles, every couple argues. Just a fact of life. Anyway, you're chances may be shot here being as you've already dated him. Hate to say it but your enemy has a slight advantage over you. However, it couldn't hurt to try to apologize for the arguments, just brush it off like they were silly arguments, tell him you miss him and would like to get back together. The worst he could do is tell you, no an go out with your enemy. Oh well, if that's the case then they deserve each other.
