A female age 22-25, anonymous writes:

Hey,

So I like this guy, and we get on really well and I think he likes me back. The problem is my best friend likes him too. She liked him first but she doesn't know I like him, but she has her suspicions. My (other) friend has told me that she would be okay with us dating but I'm not sure of she's only saying that to make me happy. Do I tell her? If she is okay with it, would it be right to date him? I really see a future with him and I need all the advice I can get. Thanks!

At our age and even some adults fall out over this stuff, so walk carefully. Relationships at our age are usually short with no future so is it worth potentially losing a best friend??

A reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2014):

When you're under 18, there really is NO future with anyone you date. It's not worth risking a close friendship.

You could mention it to her, but I think you're better off just letting it go and getting over him.
