writes:I'm going out with a guy that is 6 years older than me. He's 19. I'ma call him LJ. So about 2 week ago we were hanging out with a group of people the whole day and by the end of the day, we were holding hands. Now, we kissed today. The thing is, I like him a little, but mostly I like the attention. I actually like my best friend. I know I got myself into this and all, and it was stupid of me, but I don't know how to get out. I know I need to talk to LJ, but what should I say?

 He is 19 and you are 13. He is not going to be surprised if you bolt like a frightened rabbit. If he is experienced he is expecting it. No need to tell him about the other guy, just say you aren't ready for all that yet. I know you are trying to be mature about all this. The good news is that you are choosing the right level of intimacy to break at. Any further and it would be much harder. Don't give in to just one more kiss for good by, or one more anything, not even just friends. You will be very tempted to go further with him if you keep seeing him.

ok first thing. he's 6 years older than you. thats a big thing. you should tell 'LJ' that you have realised you prefer him as a friend and that you still want to be friends. and wait a bit and tell your best friend you like them.
