writes:hi i wonder if anyone can help me. i have know my brothers best friend for over 10years now he is nearly 18 and i am almost 16. i have always had this feeling that there was something between us as he would always make time 2 come and c me n talk 2 me, and always stick up 4 me if my brother and i had an argument. now i want more than just friendship. how do you think me brother will react and do u think by what i told you that he may feel the same way?? any help would be great ... thanks so much h xx

 He could feel the same way, or he could just look upon you as his own baby sister, which could be a reason he sticks up for you. As you have known him for a long time ask yourself if it would be awkward if you broke up. Wanting to talk to you and spend time with you are good signs, but are you alone? if so its an even better sign but if your brother is always there he might be trying to make you feel more included. Try talking to him, just ask him if he likes anyone at this moment and if he doesn't tell you who, it could be you!
