writes:Hey, okay, so recently, this guy I really like has lost a friend and been ignoring me. His friend died and he's acting fine with everyone else. He's acting like his same goofy self...except with me. Like a few days ago I said "hi" to him and he just kept walking. What does this mean? And what should I do? Reply to this Question

We don't know why he ignores you, we're not him and don't know what's going on in his mind. You can ask him why he's suddenly ignoring you and only you, or you can ignore him back.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 December 2009): To quote that great book "he's just not that into you." It's sad but true, and unfortunatly there's not a huge amount you can do about it.
I'm sure he is very sad about his friend passing away, but why would this affect how he feels for you?
If he doesn't even pay attention to you then it's time to move on. You might like him but you're like 14? There will be plenty of time to find someone else, someone who wants you for you. You should never have to change who you are to make someone interested in you.
Be strong, and accept that this just isn't going to work out and move on.
