So me and my friends are going to a dance on the 26 th and my one friend is gonna tell him that i like him i dont want her to but i do. Lol!! I just am afraid what will happen if he says no !!!!! But if he says yess........... I dont know if i should let her tell him ( to avoid embarrassment) or should i tell him or beg her not to tell at all ( in fear of awkwardness) i dont know what will happen im scared!!!!!! I guess i also need some advice on how to act the whole time this is happening!!! Like who to look at what face to make what to wear how to do my hair what to say etc. Another Q i have..... Well mostly advice I'm in grade 8 this year and some people r having a grad party that im invited to but they r talking about drinking!! reader, anonymous, writes (27 May 2009): Personally, on the first point, I think it would be better if you were to tell him yourself. He would prefer that and he would be able to see how genuine you are. And if he says yes...well that should just boost your confidence more! And if he says no...well that's unlucky, but you could then just ask to stay friends.
How to act...well just be yourself. Smile, be confident and show that you can have a good time and that you are fun to be with.
To be honest - I'm not great with make-up, but maybe you could ask a friend or your mum or an older sister to help you with that? Don't go too over the top with it though.
Drinking - be careful. I'd advise you not to drink at your age, and if you do please go very carefully! If you don't feel comfortable with drinking alcohol then don't! And don't let your peers pressure you into drinking either.

(lol I guess these words may not be much at your age but hmm) ok like try to stay calm but if he says to her he likes you then you should tell him yourself! Try not to fight yourself when you are going to confess to him. By the way I think you should tell him yourself that you like him, seems more honest that way and actually less complicated.
So they are 13 and 14 and talking about drinking? Hmm I didn't do that crap when I was at that age and avoided people who did those things at my age as well. But um if you can go to the party and avoid getting messed up then props to you. Drinking is just not cool! (at that age xD)
