 I agree with Soulprincess don't give up on trying to prove to her that you are different, I've always believed if you want something you do anything to get them, maybe she just needs to see your really interested and prepared to put the effort into being with her.
If she still continues to shut off from you and tell you she isn't interested in being with anyone right now then maybe you should back off a little and give her to the time and space she may feel she needs but still showing your there and interested and if she wants you she will come to you when ready.

 Watch hitch the movie! the one with Will Smith maybe that will help you get some tips. Just be different find out what she likes and try to do something special for her. Best of all if you truly like her try your best not give up to easily, but if you find that she truly dosen't have interest in you then let her go. There is no point trying to be with someone who is not going to cherished you for who you are, besides you have alot of chances of finding someone specially for you.
