KISS HIM. His friend has to get over the fact that you like him not the friend. Just go for it. He WILL act if you act first.

 The only thing you can do really is talk to the friend and explain that while you think he's a fantastic person you're more attracted to his friend and would he mind if you dated? If you can get his blessing then you're raring to go but if not maybe you should give them both some space for a while. This loyalty to friends thing gets less intense as you get older so not having the chance now doesn't necessarily mean never having the chance.

 You are still very young so I would steer clear of any serious relationships at the moment. Be friends with both of them. As your friendships grow you might find you're more attracted to the other friend's personality more than the one you like. Play it slow though, in time it will all sort itself out, there's no hurry.

well figure out which ONE you like i mean if they both like you then surly you get the easy part tell them both how you feel in this uncomfortable situation and they will see what they are doin is pretty complicated and try and make it better for you but ask yourself do you really want to get in the way of a lads friendship? I wouldnt my mates are more important everytime and its not really fair. you've got the choice now all you get to do is decide or move on from them both either way tell them your plans best of luck hope this helps
