Firstly congratulations on wanting to do something so worthwhile with your life!
Being a pediatrician is a very highly skilled medical job.
First of all what grades did you get for GCSEs? You will need at least a C or above in at least 5 GCSE subjects, including English, Maths and Science.
You will also need A levels, preferably in science/academic based subjects (Most courses would require Chemistry and/or Biology)
Now, it will also depend on if you want to be a nurse, or a Doctor?

This makes a difference in the courses you can take.
You can do a 3 year degree programme in Child Health, which leads to a nursing career in pediatrics.

If you want to become a consultant pediatrician (Doctor) then you will need to go to medical school. There you would do a basic Bachelors degree in Medicine and then specialise in your later years of study.

So, first job for you, is to enrol at your local college, and get back onto the academic treadmill.
I really hope you do achieve your dreams, and keep up this new found motivation!
