writes:A couple of months ago i left my boyfriend because he was slagging me off on facebook to my sister! And i was talking to him myself on facebook chat and he said "My mate likes you" and i said who? he said "peter" Then he said that it was a joke about his mate and that he liked me. He then went on to say if i asked you out what would you say? i am 13 and he is 12 and in our previous relationship we didn't even hold hands or anything so i wouldnt call it a real relationship! We talked to each other and brought each other presents but never kissed! I dont really like him that much but i do like this boy but my sister was talking to him on msn and he said tell her to f**k off and all things like that, i put on a brave face in front of them but i was really hurt! Please help!! What should i do??

reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2009): I'm not sure what answer you're looking for because there really isn't anything that you can do. Just hold your head up high and make that brave face into your actual face. I guess it's as good a time as any to learn that people are cruel and can make you feel inferior but if they do, it's your own fault. Becuase they can't make you feel that way without your consent. You should obviously have nothing to do with either of those boys. They are both very disrespectful. And if your sister was not standing up for you and telling these boys up, then i'd have a chat with her about how that makes you feel and what being family to each other means. Don't worry about it... Some peopel will love you in life and some will hate you. You will meet the right person but right now you're young so you have plenty of time. Just go ahead and master the art of putting other peoples' opinions aside. It's not something i've even learned yet and i suffer brutally from it. Goodluck.

Babe, your to young to waste youo time on boys, dont do anything, see what this peter boy does, if he likes you he will make it happen, your ex just sounds like a jerk leave him out of it. just ignore him if hes causing confusion.
