Hi Anonymous,
I think maybe you suffer from social phobia, but I'm not sure. Perhaps you should schedule an appointment with your doctor and/or a psychologist to get to the root of your problem.
In the meantime, do a search on this website for questions like your's. I think you'll find that you aren't alone. For starters, this post has an answer that I gave to someone with a similar problem. Maybe you'll find it useful?

Also try and list all the things that make you so insecure and find ways to overcome them. Even talk to a counceller who can give you helpful advice on how to be more confident.

There's no magical answer where one day you will wake up and be the most confident person in the planet. The way I would deal with this is to make a list of things that scare you about being in public, be it speaking to one person, group speaking, debating a controversial topic or whatever and number them, with one being the least scary and the highest number being the most. Then work at ticking them off your list one by one thus slowly growing confidence.
