Jennifer has also just been diagnosed with sciatica as well. My wife and I had a great relationship till this operation. We seem to be strangers in bed and at each others throat. She said the other day that we should try sex in an upright position which I've never heard off. This is not just about the sex , I just wish that I could get my wife back minus the pain relief patches and all the pain killers she is taking. I love her very much but cannot handle being pushed away in my eyes it is a form of rejection from her yet I know that she is not rejecting me. Any suggestions Reply to this Question Share |

Go ahead and try the upright position if she thinks it will work for her. Get her treatment for the symptoms that are affecting her life.

I can't tell you that you should be more undertstanding because it seems as if you have been trying to be for a while now.It is difficult for both of you my advice is to talk to a doctor. Both of you go and just talk to this doctor tell him everything, there must be some way that this problem can be solved.
Hope that she gets better really soon.
