Ever since I found out about it, I've been sad. I can never get him off my mind. Its like never before. I feel...hurt. I don't even know why. Its just..bothering me so much. I always want to be alone. Lately, I have never wanted to be near anyone. And no matter what I do to try and get it off my mind. It finds a way back. I've tried helping myself, but I can't. Nothing is working. And I really don't want to stop liking him. I truly hope he is the one. But this smoking thing just hurts me. I can't explain the feelings, how or why. It just does. Its probably stupid to be hurt. And I doubt anyone understands. I just hope I can find help. Thank You for anyone who can atleast give me advice.-Anonymous

If you like someone you take them as a package, flaws as well.
I don't understand how something like this can cause so much hurt for you, its not a nice habit to have but theres plenty of other things he could be doing that are alot worse and in my opinion this is minor compared.

There are things you can change and things that can never change.
You need to know which are the things which you can change and which cannot change.
This guy you like have got a bad habit but you cannot control him and asked him to stop smoking. If he likes you , he may give up smoking in your presence.
You cannot change others but you can change your own perspective and look at the same problem from another angle.
You cannot force others to do what you want. Either you accept them as they are or you move on .
