I came out as gay about 18 months ago, and have truly never looked back, I'd never had feelings for a guy and was just overly relieved about being able to be open about it. Then, a couple of nights ago I got pretty drunk at a party and ended up snogging one of my guy mates. I don't exactly regret it but I wouldn't do it again, and I guess I just want reassurance that the fact I wanted to kiss him when I was drunk doesn't really mean anything. Has anyone else been here? Thanks for any help xxx

I had a drunken snog and a grope with a lesbian friend of mine, and it was a bit awkward between us for a few days (she had a girlfriend at the time). But we both put it behind us, and we get on OK now. She seems fairly sure about her sexuality though, because she's been with her current partner for 12 years.
Don't worry - you won't have to go straight on the strength of one drunken snog.

just don't go confusing them by saying you're gay but then kissing the guys lol!

You were drunk so just forget about it. And even if you feel attracted to guys, who says that we must define out sexuality. Be free and experiment with people, you may feel differently towards different people!
