I kissed a girl and she ran away?

Question - (10 December 2010) 6 Answers - (Newest, 10 December 2010)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I went to a party on Monday and this girl approached me and we started dancing, i asked for her name and what she studies (it was a university party) She was rubbing her hands on my chest and i was feeling on her bum. Anyway she looked really shy as she was looking down. I lifted her chin up after dancing for about 2 minutes and we began kissing. It was amazing and she tasted really nice. We kissed using tongues and also without. However after about 10 seconds she suddenly said "i'm sorry" with a smile on her face and she went off. I looked and saw what looked like her friend grabbing her arm. This is the first time i've kissed a girl (properly for about 10 years anyway) I'm 19. I don't think i did anything wrong so why did she ran away??

tennisstar88 agony aunt She was probably a little drunk. Her friends saw her swapping spit with you, and were looking out for their friend before it lead to anything further. Not saying you had other intentions.

Girls travel in packs at parties and clubs. When they see one of their girls who had way too much Jack to drink, playing tongue war with another guy, they swoop in and save their friend from doing something she'll potentially regret the next day. It was nothing that you did wrong. You just got cock-blocked by her friends.

Well there's two reasons why she might have ran away from you.

1st, I hate to say this but if she didnt' feel what you felt, she might have thought..ahh he's crap and just left..

2nd, since you said it looked as if her friend grabed her arm..maybe she had to leave the place as her friends were leaving the party scene im guessin?

either way, you have done nothing wrong..if she thinks you're a bad kisser, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're bad. everybody has different style of kissing and hence prefers different style of kissing...or her friends needed her urgently at that moment...

No need to worry about a single thing..!! x

Girls usually hang around in groups and if the other girls were leaving then she probably felt she had to go with them. It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. She didn't "run off" she just left with her friends.

Haha dun worry man she was just overwhelmed with emotion. Wait til she calms down. Hopefully she'll keep in touch. You went with the flow, took the signs, and u did things well here. She may be a bit immature tho so watch out. Good luck.
