Usually it's my best friend/ex boyfriend that dies. It's been a variety of ways--plane crashes, car crashes, ski accidents, stabbing, etc. Sometimes I see myself weeping over his open casket, or spreading his ashes in his favorite places. Some of my other close friends have been the victims in my dreams as well.Another of my friends has similar dreams, but she is always the one that dies in her dreams. She is very disturbed by them on a daily basis. Could you please help us by offering insight?Thank you so much!--GG

Take a really good look at your life. Is there something that is really bothering you or worrying you at the moment? Dreams often reflect how we feel. So if you feel bad about something, or worried, maybe that's the problem.

Well you can start by looking at any outside factors that might make these dreams happen.
Do you smoke? Drink caffiene or chemical (like fizzy drinks or coffee) drinks after 7pm?
Do you eat sweets (candy) or cheese or anything else after 7pm?
Do you watch films / play games or anything just before you go to sleep?
Have you have any trouble going to the loo recently? If it hurts to wee or anything it could be a kidney infection and that can seriously mess up your dreams.
All these things can do strange things to your dreams.
Try getting a routine in place so after 7pm you are really clean living.
Drink water or milk... warm milk with a spoonful of honey in it is great in winter. Hot chocolate is also nice.
Don't eat anything with chemicals in all evening and don't eat anything after 8pm.
Have a nice shower and don't watch any TV or go on the computer after 9pm.
Do something really nice and relaxing, like having a bath, or reading a book. Go to bed early and think nice thoughts.
See if that helps.
If not then it may be something in your life that's freaking you out so try talking to your parents about it and see if they can offer any advice.
Good Luck!! xx

reader, anonymous, writes (12 January 2010): I have these kinds of dreams too, more so involves my family, me and my boyfriend, or friends dying, like when I was getting on a plane to go to England, from Australia, I fell asleep waiting at the airport, only to see the plane crashing from Turbulance, yeah, sounds familar from a movie right? To say the least I was terrifed to go on the plane, but did anyway.
Another one was when I was at a friends place, I dreamt a car came in through the wall, only to set the whole place alight in flames, where me and my friend burnt to death, and her family too.
And the most current, which I hate to think about, but do anyway as it comes back every night, is where I die in labour and my boyfriend eventually goes mad with greif, and kills himself too.
I saw a doctor when I got fed up, and he said it was normal and they'd go away. But, I've been having them since I was little to Dinosaurs eating my sister, to everyone burning to death. To be honest, it's gotten to the point of me hardly sleeping.
But, I've faith they'll go away one day, and I don't think it's a mental disorder, because I am 100% sane.
I'm sorry you've got to go through these aswell, but I do promise you have fabulous dreams inbetween.
