It took 3 months after the miscarriage to get pregnant again by the way the doctor adivsed me to take folic acid just after the miscarriage as I was going to try as soon as I was able to. It takes guts and sheer determination to try again but it is not impossible. I have a healthy 4 girl. Good luck.

Sorry to here about this sweetheart, You will bleed for awhile it may be a little longer than a normal period everyone is different though, your periods should return as normal after although they maybe a little here and there for a few months untill they regulate, This can be a upsetting time love so if you feel down in anyway make sure you see someone, everything should be back to normal within 2 months and you can get pregnant quite quickly as I found out hunny take care of you with love mandy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi there
Firstly, sorry for your loss. I've also had a miscarriage once, and i know how devastating this can be.
I'm not the expert on this, but as far as i know, Once the bleeding etc has stopped, you could be fertile again as soon as 14 days after the miscarriage. Some doctors say you should wait at least two full cycles just for everything to be normal again, to reduce the risk of having another miscarriage, but mainly, the thing to consider is your emotional wellbeing.
Once all the symptoms of the miscarriage has subsided, and you feel emotionally ready again, then i would say you are good to go.
Good luck.
