writes:My ex girlfriend broke up with me just over 2 months ago because she said the relationship was too hard, and them affectionate feelings wasnt there anymore, even though she still loved and cared for me. We didnt speak for 2 weeks when she contacted me, general chat, said she felt like at the moment, it was the right decision. I asked her out the next week, she said it was too early and maybe in a couple of weeks. 3 weeks later I asked again and got the same response, this time I asked why and she said because she didnt want me to think anything could happen again. I spoke to her sunday on and off by email, at the end I said it was nice to talk to her today, and she said yeah it was. Problem is I want her back, and although all the signs say that she doesnt want it, I cant help but want to ask her out again, and hope we can just have fun and see what happens... help.

 This one is so tough. I'm in the same place. I've just split up with my husband a week ago. The first week was full of doing all the practical things I had to do to keep my life in order, but now those have subsided I'm missing him like hell, even though I know its not for the best for either of us to go on, and yes I do feel like seeing him for that hand holding he was so good at, the cuddles that we both loved, and I know we both love each other very deeply, but too many things were wrong, and it will only hurt me to go back there. You are feeling the same, you can't help yourself, you miss her, you want her in your life, its tough. But I know from past experience its not wrong to see her until you finally know this cannot go on ..... and you will. So don't be hard on yourself, the heart has many strings, all of which hurt like hell when they are broken. Be gentle and kind with yourself, look for other interests and get back out there in the world, see her if you need to, until you don't need to any more. Its all ok. Just gave myself some really good advice there, thanks. Love and blessings.
