I am known for doing and saying stupid things because i often speak or do something before thinking it through. But this one is a biggy, i stupidly told my friends i was going out with this lad when i wasnt. Then this girl told him and he hasnt spoke to me since. This is a problem because ive liked him for a long time, i'm talking three years. I don't know what to do anymore i can't stop thinking about him, i tried to forget about him and move on but i couldn't, i tried dating this other guy but all i could think about was him. It's driving me crazy!!!! I know i don't stand a chance with him after what i did and he has a girlfriend now. I don't know what to do anymore, any advice?

 all you can do is suck it up, stay busy, and move on. eventually you will find someone who you will like 10x more. i hope. i hate to say it but it sounds like he has absolutely no interest in you and you have to respect that as much as it hurts. good luck.
