Its a terrible shock for a wife to be struck by the man she loves, After being in an abusive relationship I wish I had left alot sooner than I did love, If this is the first time hunny then it needs to be adressed now, If you love her and there have been problems you should go for councelling rather than get to this point as there is no excuse for striking a woman, I do understand and some may find that hard to belive, I dont believe one should judge and that in an argument if words are said that really hurt and cut deap it can happen,But after saying that it isnt the right thing to do. I never said or did anything to be abused the way I was that was alcohol and illness issues in both my marriages. You wouldnt have written in with a question like this if I believe you felt you wish this had not happened as its a brave thing to admit to, So hunny go and get some help thats my advice and get this sorted out so you dont get into this situation again TAKE CARE LOVE MANDY xxxxxxx

I don't blame her, as once a man hits a woman he usually does it again.
Possibly you need to do some anger management classes? If so you could start them and once she saw you were doing something about it she might consider giving you another chance.

Have you ever hit her before? Why did you do it this time.
Coming from a violent relationship, and staying in it for years myself. I cant really blame her.
There is NO excuse to hit a Woman, no matter how mad she makes you.
If you dont want to lose her, you have a lot to prove that it would never happen again. And you need to mean it.
