Be lucky your Dad is an older guy, I have three teenage brothers and you should hear them go at it all day and nite. I know what you mean about that sound! You know exacly what they are doing at that very moment. You know they have their hand on their penis stroking away. The sound can defintly can get in your head but just remind yourself what my mom told me, that is completly normal and helthy. I told my mom I was hearing my brothers playing with their penis. The first time I heard that sound I was 12 and I did not know what it was, so I walked into my brother Steve bedroom and there he was doing it. I thout he was punching his penis. I was shocked to see him hurt himself, he looked like he was in pain. He didnt see me at first so I watched. I couldn't move. My legs went numb. Then he opened his eyes screamed and threw his pillow at me, so I ran out. That made me feel creepy.Steve did not look at me or talk to me for weeks after that. I say you don't confront your dad about hearing him jerking off. Just tell him that there is a lot of noise and ask him to be quiter. My mom says that guys build up sperm and need to release it or they can actualy feel uncomfort and pain, in addition to the hornyness. My mom said that when boys do it, it's not all quiet like when girls do it. We are pretty quiet when we finger ourselves, the most sound I think I make is a lot of heavy breathing and maybe a few moans. My brothers say they hear me, but I think they lie just to make what they are doing less obvious. I dont know if my story helped you, but I think you just need to tell him that you hear noise. My brother Steve did not look at me or talk to me for a long time after I wateched him and I dont think you want the same from your dad if you tell him you know what he is doing. Your dad is normal dont be creeeped out by it.

Just tell him that you can hear strange noises from the tv room if he could lower the tv. That should embarass him in a non threatening way and modify his behaviour.

In a way that does not embarras either of you but also fixes this embarrasing problem because you as the child should not have to hear it or be witness to it and he as the Dad should be able to have some privacy.

Maybe you should tell him that you hear him: that would be pretty embarassing for him and I think he would find a way to do it in a way that you do not hear it.
