Anyway, my friend told Cody "(xxx) xxx-xxxx text this girl, she likes you" Cody texted me last night and we flirted a little. We haven't met in person yet, but I plan on changing this Monday. How should I handle this situation?

reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2014): Cody has no idea what you look like or what age you are. All he has is your number and he called it because he was asked to. How do you handle it? I think you better introduce yourself so he knows who you are.
It may hurt your feelings if he isn't really interested; or he has a girlfriend.
If he has never met you and you change the number, what difference does that make?
