writes: I have the implant in my arm it is due to come out in june since last week my stomach has been feeling very sensitive and this week i have been being sick but more feeling sick and not actually being sick. As Laura said, you need to get to the doctor. You shouldn't be getting sick like that. The red rash on your face may simply be the reaction to retching - and probably nothing more than little blood vessels straining and breaking with the effort of your body trying to throw up.
Quite simply, if your stomach hasn't been right for over a week, it's time for a professional diagnosis. See the doctor.

reader, anonymous, writes (23 April 2008): I have the implant too, although mine has been dead for about a year now and I havent had it out yet! oops!. but I dont have any of thoose symptoms, I would go to the doctors just to be sure. but it sounds like you have a tummy bug or something. I would imagine that the rash on your face after you've been sick is probably because of the act of being sick itself. I feel like my face and eyes might pop when im sick! Im sure its just because of the pressure that builds up in your face when your sick.
see how you feel in a few days, if it hasnt got any better then see a doctor.

No idea, i had the implant for about 10 months and had it taken out for other reasons in the end, i didn't get those symptoms.
Best to go to the docs and ask if its possible the Implanon is causing it.
