Since we have seen each other, I went on the Mini Pill- Cerazette, and we have always had sex without a condom. We are both undoubtly faithful to each other, so the sex without a condom is safe for us, and has been since weve been together. However, I have been taking this pill for about 2 and a half years- non stop- which you are meant to, (many doctors and the leaflet in the packets say you do not have to take a break every month, you just have to contiune to take it every day of the month.)and I have never had a proper period. (Which is meant to be perfectly normal)Im scared that because I have never stopped to have a break with this pill that I may have become infertile or I may have damaged myself. We dont want a baby just yet, but it's both bothering us,and were both wondering if taking this pill has had a bad effect or will have a bad effect when we do decide to start a family or if I do get pregnant. I havent been to the doctor to ask him this yet, im due to pick up yet more tablets in the next few weeks, but i just wanted to ask onhere if anyone could give me advice or knew anything about this type of pill or have had a similar experience. Thanks!! x

Cerrazette is one of the most common types of pill and they would not give it out if there was any chance it would cause infertility.
I was at the family planning clinic last week and they said the implant is pretty much the same stuff at cerrazette but just goes into your body in a different way, and that is in your arm for 3 years.
Don't worry and you can always talk to your doctor about it when you go and see him next.
Good Luck!! xx

I've never taken that particular kind of pill. I'm sure you'll be just fine in the fertility department; they do test these medications you know! But I can understand why you'd be afraid. I suppose only time will tell if you are still fertile or not. In the mean time, why not switch to the regular birth control pill instead?
