writes:hi, i wonder if you can help meee.. im 16 and my boyfriend is 17. yesterday he fingered me, and i was just coming off my period. there was some blood (ewww) and today ive been getting shooting pains in my stomach and dark blood, but im not sure if its just because im coming off my period or something serious?if anyone has anything helpful to say it would be much apprecaited !!

 I think that during your period, it is totally normal that any kind of sexual activity can make the blood get going again (horrid, i know, but that's the truth of it). Especially if you have an orgasm.
The dark blood could well be the end of your period, as it does often get darker towards the end.
The shooting pains could just be the way it goes.
However, if the pains continue longer than 24 hours, and the dark blood, I would without doubt get to the docs to be checked out - no harm in it. Your boyfriend could, i suppose, have gone too far and wounded you in some way, although I doubt it. Or there could be something else wrong, which was disturbed by what your boyf did.
I think most likely it's absolutely nothing, but if it goes on (and don't wait long), i'd go to the doctors.
Don't worry - these kind of things happen. The trick is to breathe deeply and wait, most of the time, and then often it all goes away by itself.

 Hmm, sounds weird! If it continues or happens again then go and see a doctor. It shouldn't happen after he fingers you all of the time, but this could just be a one off. Note down the date it started, the colour of the blood, whether it was heavy or light. Then keep track of how many times you and your boyfriend do stuff of a sexual manner(everytime he goes inside you) if it happens again this will be helpful for a doctor as they will be able to have an accurate description of what's happening and how often it happens. Hopefully It will just be a fluke though. X
