writes:Hi all. sorry is i've been asking SOO many questions latly, but this site is the only place i can talk 2. look at my other questions before reading this.and about the jealousy of my brother being cooler that me, well now it's driving me insne. now, he says that girls come up to him and say he's hot and that he flirts with other girls. this bugs me. i don't know anything about girls, because i'm only 11 and btw my brother is the same age. Now, as i said before, i like this girl in class but don't know what to do. i never talk 2 girls and don't know how to have even a normal conversation. i think i'm weird. i'm a computer geek who programs and stuff. But... i'm also a very good magician with many tricks. i do shows for some little kids' patries now.about the girl i like... i think she is really pretty. her smile is amazing. and i love her personality... but she doesn't know me. i'm a geek or nerd and have no life. i don't know ANYTHING about girls like my brother does.I have an idea. when i do a magic trick in school and like 10 people crowd around 2 watch, she does too. always. and when i ask for a volunteer, she always raises her hand. always. so, i'm Guessing that she loves magic. when i show her a trick, she goes "oh my gosh!!!!" and stares in amazement. she is already going out with another boy which i don't know. could i get her to chat with me or become friends mith my magic? could it break the ice??? i'm afraid t just walk up 2 her and show ONLY HER a trick because i thing that she will think i have a crush on her. am i just worrying WAY too much?!?! becasue she know's i NEVER talk 2 girls and if she see me showing just her a trick. because i never show just one person a trick alone.am i freaking out tooooo much? can magic break the ice? wat do i do?!?!?!jeez, this is the first girl i EVER had a crush on. wat do i do?!?!and the jealousy of my brother is driving me INSANE.wondering wat i'll ever do to jump-start my social life is driving me insane.AND.. my first EVER school dance is next year, at the first week. wat do i do about that??? i'll look stupid if i don't go. do i need to go with a girl? how do i dance?i know, many questions here. plz answer ALL of them.  Wow! An old head on young shoulders or what? Your brother is making you paranoid here saying he's cool and you're not. You sound a lovely guy and you certainly don't seem to be stuck for words! lol
So what if you like computers, that makes you interesting, not a geek. So you're clever, that's cool! You could probably get any girl you liked if you played your cards right (there was a joke there somewhere ;o)) Use magic as your talking point. There's no reason you can't go up to her for example and say "Hi Debbie, how's my favourite assistant doing today?" See what she says. Ask her about her day, what class she's going into next etc and take it from there. Then you could say to her "I have a special trick just for you..." then show her a simple trick. YOU then leave her and say "catch you later..." and walk away. Next time she sees you she'll say hi to you first and bingo!
Regarding your brother, don't worry about him, just try to get along with him. He sees your smart and is just trying to come up to scratch with you. Try and get along with him and be nice to him. Seriously, if you try, you'll see the difference.
