It sounds alot like demonic activity. Try putting on some Christian music while you sleep. I had the same problem for a long time and it now has finally gone away

I have that to some times, a lot of the times its stress, has anything big happened in your life? Or something stressing you out, even stress with school work can do that to you. Stress does funny things. I hear voices to some times, but if it gets bad, I say you talk to a doctor about it.

Yos agony auntThere are doctors who specialize in sleep disorders. If this is really causing you issues I suggest asking your general doctor to refer you to one. They can run some tests on you to see what is going on, they are experts in these sorts of things and should be able to help out.

LazyGuy agony auntYou hear your name being called when really awake or are you dreaming you are awake?

Nightmares happen although sometimes they are because you feel stressed about something.

If you hear the voices when you are awake it might be time to talk to a doctor about this. I would not use the TV to block out noise, after all, you never know what will be on next.

Play music, preferably something soft and gentle or something like an audio-book but not a thriller of course.

There is also something else you might try, put a recorder on, you can easily setup your PC to record with a mic and that might be able to tell you if there is really something making a noise or wether it is all in your head.

If the recording shows nothing and you are sure you are awake when you hear the voice you should seek medical help as you might be hallucinating/daydreaming and that might be part of a bigger problem then just nightmares. If you actually record something, it is most likely someone is playing a prank on you.

As for ghosts, there is no scientific proof they exist at all despite decades of research. If they never been found before, one is bloody unlikely to show up in your bedroom just to scare you.

sexi agony auntHi

Try not to eat a heavy meal before bedtime this will help you sleep. You can also listen to good soothing music to help you relax. Try have a warm bath before bedtime or you can have a warm drink. You should speak to your mum and she could try putting you to bed and being in your room while you sleep.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Sexi
