It makes me feel really weird since almost of everyone at my age is talking about girls, whilst I am just not so interested. I have a lot of female friends and in fact people who know me the best are all girls. I don't have any problem talking or hanging out with girls. In fact I prefer to hang out with girls more since they somehow understand me better than guys.I guess the reason for my interest not in a relationship is I could not get over my previous love or fancy for a girl who was my best friend. But that was two years ago and I rarely see her nowadays. Is this normal?

There really is no such thing as normal when it comes to relationships. At the end of the day you are still young and have plenty of time ahead of you for relationships. I guess maybe you felt hurt when things did not work out with your best friend and maybe you have closed yourself off a little scared in case you get hurt again. I do agree though that two years was a long time ago so I am hoping that this is not the cause for you holding back. To be honest I would not worry about it to much as long as you are happy and out enjoying your life.
