A male India age 36-40, *am4lovemywife writes:

Hi readers,

I am such a boy that I never touched any girl romantically in my life though I have a desire to have sex from my teenage. Because, I will respect culture still in this fast culture. So, I am expecting such a girl she should be perfect as me. So that I love her in such a way that she will think that I am the person again as her husband in transmigration of soul. You may ask that I am fool? I am very handsome that many girls tried to love me in many ways I just rejected them since It is not perfect age to do love etc (teenage or up to 23 also). So I kept my pure heart of love for my wife.

I think that the peak stage of love is intimacy. Tell me if I don't get the virgin girl How should I feel? Why because I have been waiting to share my every aspects of love including all pains and happiness to my wife. But If she enjoyed with many guys and marrying me is justice? Then what is the use of the words like honest, love, faith and family. If she breaks by doing some masturbation I don't mind, Now days most girls will say the same. She only knew that she had intimacy with others.

It sounds like you really do want to meet a virgin and are just confused because of cultural differences. Wait for the right person and don't let yourself be influenced by things you would find unwholesome.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (23 April 2009):

What is the question?

You remained a virgin, so you can offer your wife no painful thoughts about your past sex life.

If you want a wife who has made the same sacrifices that were necessary to spare you any of these painful thoughts, then you should not settle for someone who has not sacrificed too.

A non-virgin may change her mind about her sexual decisions later, but what does that matter to you? It does not take away the sex she had and will always remember having. It does not give you back any of the sex that you missed while you were sacrificing for her benefit. And it does not remove any of the painful thoughts that her past will always bring you.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (20 April 2009):

there are still many girls that are virgins. i am sure that you will find out, just becare of those that claim to be virgins but are not. some girls knowingly and delibertly "fake" their virginity and i think it is not fair to their husbands.

you have stayed pure for so long, this is a good, admirable quality. you deserve what you are looking for. i think because of your cultural background you would prefer a virgin so choose wisely. if you do not get a virgin you will be tormented by images of her having sex/giving herself away to someone else. you will also be consumed by jealously. so to stop any other issue from developing, get get the virgin first.

if you do find a true love in the meanwhile, who is also a virgin, and if you want to consumate your love, then do so. just don't expect another man to get your seconds because you obviously do not want seconds yourself. (i am trying to tell you, if you have sex with a girl, then please also marry her at some satge).

good luck. i hope this works out for you.

SirenaBlusera agony auntI think it's great that you've been able to stand your ground about this despite all the pressure.

However, if you were to meet and fall for a girl who happened to not be a virgin... could it work?

Sure it could! She had other partners back when she didn't know you existed... but if she truly loves you, she'll be true and faithful to you. What happened before the two of you met is in the past.

I wouldn't judge someone for having sex, but it's smart to wait for true love. :)

A reader, anonymous, writes (20 April 2009):

My husband was a virgin when i met him, but i was not. I had been in a relationship for over three years and thought it would work out. That was before i found taht he had been lyeing and all sorts of things behind my back. I regretted losing it to him but it was something i could not take back. I was especially sad because i did want to save myself for the absolute, right guy.

When i met my husband.. it was instant. i knew the night we met that i would be with him forever. He wanted to do what you are doing now. To save himself for his wife, and of course he hoped that she could do the same. When he met me he had the same "the one" feeling and despite my past, we were together and always will be.

I would be so devasted if he didn't take me because of what i cannot change. But he did and he has dropped my pasy and not let it affect him.

There is a difference in finding a woman who has lost her virginity, and finding one who has spread it all around. Just because she has given it away does not mean that you don't share the same values. Some people just make mistakes. I was heart broken at everything i found out about my ex.

Don't let the person who you should be with for the rest of your life get away from you just because she has been with someone else. If you know she'll make you happy forever and you love her for all the right reasons, then please don't torture her with what is done.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (20 April 2009):

hey there.. even too have thoughts like you... i want my guy to be a virgin and i am happy my guy is.. but the thing is its not the virginity that counts.. its the true and eternal love that matters.. but i hope you a girl of your dreams.. guys like you are really rare.. if a girl truly loves you even if shez not a virgin, i think you can go ahead.. provided she wins your trust and she is trustworthy and she loves only and only you.. but every guy has a dream of a pure virgin girl.. hope you get her.. but as i told dont reject anyone who loves you truly from heart just cos shez a virgin or not a virgin.. be very wise before chooosing your girl. and ya if the girl truly loves you but has had any previous experience, she will surely tell you before itself to avoid problems later... and ya all girls are not non virgins..so boy THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU GIVE YOU GIVE YOUR HEART AND BE WISE AND PRACTICAL..cos if u give someone Ur heart, its very difficult to get them off from Ur mind or take back your heart.. if shes not a virgin, see the pros and cons too.. and if she is keep her happy... and ya its not the face or body that counts but its the heart that counts.. so good luck!!

i waited till true love.

Not marriage.

I waited and waited till I found my bf.

He wasn't a virgin.

We've been together for almost a year, and we will marry eventually.

He had only been with one girl before me.

Just because someone has been with someone else it doen't mean that they can't love you.

And any girl that finds you should consider herself lucky because most of my boyfriend in which i did nothing with had 10+ partners.

As you can imagine, those relationships only lasted a very very short time.

ArmyMedic agony auntIf you find a girl you love it doesn't matter about her past as long as you both love each other.

I understand that you have stayed a virgin, and many people don't, and ideally you will fall in love and marry a virgin too, but you can not choose who you fall in love with and their past makes them the person they are today... The person you love.
