writes: I have a male friend. We hung out for a week , and in that time i met his girlfriend once. Anyways she found out a week later my email and emailed me to met her one night. I went and met her alone and since that night weve hit it off. We fell in love. TRUE LOVE and her boyfriend is keeping her but threatening her and wont let her leave. Im no longer his friend because of the way he is. She does hate him. But is having troble getting away. What do i do to help her get away from her boyfriend?

reader, anonymous, writes (5 October 2006): The simple answer (if all that you write is true) is for you to give the guy a good beating. But, we're in the 21st century now, and this is unacceptable. So, convince the young lady to really let her looks and hygiene go...I mean really go. Then if he still wants her, it's true love, and you might as well forget about her. Otherwise, just wait. Your bird will soon be flying free.
