Um, well the thing is, is that im super insecure about my breasts. I have a nice set, or so Im told, but the have stretch marks on them because they grew so fast. The stretch marks arent that visible they are a white color but Im always afraid that when a guy I like will see them he's not gonna find them attractive...Help! Is this as big a deal as I think!?

A reader, anonymous, writes (25 June 2007):

I have stretch marks on my breasts from getting pregnant when I was only 16. They were so bad because my breasts grew so fast that even the doctor looked at them and said he had never seen anything like it. It was pretty humiliating. I am almost 35 now and they are barely noticeable. Or I am just used to them. I have never had any complaints from any guys since then..LOL. Just remember you are not the only girl who has stretch marks. They are pretty common even though the doc said that. Also remember that there is always going to be someone out there who is prettier, richer, smarter, than you...and whatever is going on in your life love your self and your body unconditionally... :)

DV1 agony auntIt depends on if the guy is shallow or not. As long as the girl takes care of herself hygeine-wise, I wouldn't care. The only physical things that matter to me are that a girl remembers to shower, and take care of their body.

Danielepew agony auntFor some men, it is a big deal. For some others, it's not. For me, it wouldn't be a problem. I have stretch marks on my knees (my soccer years), and I know those marks are there through no fault of my own. And I don't think anyone has noticed them.

Maybe you're insecure because you're young. I don't think that stretch marks define your value as a person.

Don't worry, be happy!
