I haven't been in his class at school for the last 5 years. I'm not the soppy kind of person to get hung up on things, or to be able to talk about this kind of thing easily. Next year our sets get mixed and I will be in his class for everything but P.E. I don't know how I'm going to be able to control myself. It's going to be torture. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. That's why it will be torture, for a fact I know he is of a similar if not the same ability as me, and has the same opinions about nearly everything. As we don't have separate desks at my school there is a high change I will be sat next to him next year. That's why it will be awkward.

Hi
Maybe you could tell him how you feel if not face to face but by a note maybe. If you let your feelings out at least you wont have to suffer in silence. If he says no at least you`ll know where you stand and i know this probably sounds stupid and hard but then at least if you do this and if he says no you`ll be able to let it go. If you`re worried about people bullying you or taking the mick remember it has nothing to do with them opinions arn`t facts take them in and let them go. Also people seem to forget things after a while. If you cant tell this boy in the way i suggested you could get someone else to tell him i always find it best to get feelings out into the open it re leaves the pressure and stress good luck hope it all works out.
