Honey it sounds like a simple yeast infection.
they are not sexually transmitted even babies can get them and in your mouth it's call THRUSH...
Your mom has probably had them before (most women get vaginal yeast infections at least once or twice in their lives)
there are creams that you can use or pills depending on the doctor. I don't know if you can get over the counter where you are but even here in the USA it's recommended for your first one that you see a doctor first.
If you ARE sexually active at all, then you need to tell the doctor that too..
Either way it's probably time for you to see the gynecologist for your first visit.
Can you talk to MOM about it? (dad's don't always do so well with "my baby girl is growing up" but your mom went through the exact same stuff at her age trust me.

Either way, you should go to your doctor (you can ask for a female one). Hopefully, she'll explain it to you and, if it's nothing serious, you might not have to tell your parents. If it is quite serious though, I'd only suggest you tell your mum, anyway; it's more of a mother-daughter thing.

A

It could be a yeast infection in which case you should still go to a doctor to rule out diabetes. Ask for diabetes testing. Please tell your mother, this is nothing to worry about. Not treating an std can lead to sterility and other major health issues.

Drink plenty of water to help flush your system.
Yeast infections happen to many people from babies to very old ladies. Your body can pick up a yeast infection very easily. It is not something that you have done to cause this to happen.
Such things happen to millions of women all over the world. Even Nuns who are celibate get such infections.
Visit the chemist if you
cannot face visiting the doctor. A Doctor would be better. Ultimately you should see a doctor for the knock-out effect that the Doctor can achieve to get rid of the infection.
When the Doctor prescribes you medication to get rid of the yeast infection you must take every tablet.
If the itchiness becomes unbearable then when you wash yourself with warm water twice a day "down there" in your private area - then pat dry the area - after that then immediately apply a generous application of a non-allergenic body lotion that has no perfume to the whole of the affected area. This seals the skin from any urine touching you down there. Hospitals often use suitable very gentle body lotions on baby skin to protect the baby's fragile skin.
Blame these infections on the positioning of the female anatomy in the private area.
Men rarely suffer these infections as they are built differently.

Google 'yeast infection' and see if your symptoms match the description. If that's what you have, a better understanding of this very minor and easily treated ailment might help you approach your mother.

Just write in your letter exactly whats going on down there and that you were to scared to tell her in person. Trust me your not the first person that this has happened to and who knows maybe the same thing has happened to her before. Remember the sooner you let her know the sooner the problem can get fixed. Good luck.

Don't be worried, you probably have a yeast infection. They make you very itchy and they aren't sexually transmitted or anything. If you have access to your own money you can just go to the store and buy the medicine yourself.
Why are you afraid? Are you sexually active and they don't know? If so and you haven't used protection, there IS a chance you have a sexually transmitted disease, though a yeast infection is still the most likely culprit. You could get the medicine for that, try it for a couple of days (it works very quickly), and if it doesn't help then reconsider telling them.
