One of best friends, Gavin, stays in a student house nearby. I met one of his house mates, Richard, the other day, and I'm smitten! Not only is he gorgeous, but he's also a great guy. The catch? I don't know if he's gay or not, and I'm scared to freak him out, as this would make visiting at Gavin's place a problem! Also, Gavin doesnt know that I'm gay. If Richard was willing to date, I really wouldn't mind letting Gavin know. Gavin would probably be fine with it, and we're really good friends so he wouldn't be a problem if he knew, but I've always kept an attitude of "the less people that know, the better." I'm still in the closet, so try to stay discreet.

tough call mate, it cant be easy to come out! But you wont ever be able to have a relationship if you cant even tell your best friends. Where are all the guys that have been through this.. Give him advice!

I have no problem with being attracted to guys, but I stay in a men's hostel, and they're all very traditionally minded - they'd rather beat up a gay guy than talk to him. I can't be open about it to everyone. But talking to Gavin about it is a good idea. Thanx. It's kind of what I figured, but needed someone else to tell me too! Thanx
