writes: Hey, I have this huge problem. Let's cut to the chase - I have a huge crush on my best friend's brother. My best friend has an older brother and I've known him for so many years, and I've never ever thought about him in a personal kind of way. He has seen me in every state possible, completly wasted, so hungover and looking rough as hell, in floods of tears, fits of laughter... etc.Only recently have we begun talking on facebook and texting each other quite a lot. The subject has come up in conversation and we have told each other we both like each other but now our conversations haven't gone any further, they're still just general talk and haven't gone personal or anything, (which I'm gutted/confused about). I've been speaking to a few of my friends and they say maybe he's worried about what his sister will say etc, which is a possibility. The longer it goes the more and more I'm beginning to like him and I just want him to bring up our situation in conversation so we can talk about it. I'm also very worried about what his sister/my best friend will say. I litrally have no idea what she will think, and I don't know whether to tell her if we get together when she's sober and sit her down or when we're drunk and see if she will just not mind?? He's giving me so many mixed signals also, like sometimes I can tell he's making the effort to be around me (when I'm at their house) and other times we don't really speak much. ahhh I'm so confused!! Someone help me please!!!!

Talk to your friend and tell her honestly that you REALLY like her brother and see how she reacts, if it's positive then you need to up the flirting with him and drop hints that you'd like him to take you out sometime.
