I always tend to care about what others think (bad habit) and when I see that most guys at the beach or wherever don't have hairy chests, it makes me feel like maybe I should wax it because it's ugly. I usually try to avoid taking off my shirt because i'm so worried that ppl will find it gross. So yea, i'm just confused and kinda feel a bit like an outcast. If I leave it, then I always feel worried about what others think about how I look. If I shave it then it might look even worse when it starts getting stubbly. If I wax, then it's gone for good, so it's a huge decision.Any advice would be great. =/ Reply to this Question Share |

Women have this dilemma too - they have to choose whether to shave/wax etc out of a mix of personal taste and wanting to be attractive. I used to fight it - now I shave my legs and like the way it looks, so that keeps me happy!and if you wax it will grow back, so if you feel like trying it, go ahead - you can always change your mind later!

It's like seeing someone wearing a new trend that's confident. Pretty soon others follow (or at least respect the person for being an individual). Imagine going through the pain of waxing for one girl, then leaving for another, and on and on. Personally, I like men with hair ... that's one of the beautiful differences of the genders. I vote - KEEP IT and wear it like you mean it!

Well personally i like a man with a bit of hair on his chest.. i happen to love the hair on my mans chest and across his belly, i think its quite sexy, he said to me once that he wanted to shave it, hes not that hairy anyway i was like dont you dare!!! If its just some hair and not like majorly hairy then i dont see a problem, i dont myself like smooth chests, its nice to have a little hair there adds a bit of character! and i think its much nicer to nestle against when intimate... I guess you could try it and see how you feel, but it would be itchy possibly when it grew back... as the last poster wrote if you think its too hairy maybe trim it down rather than shave it, but its all down to what you want and how you feel and you could shave it all off only to find that the next girl you date likes hairy chests! Its a personal preference and its up to you and if its not out of hand hair i dont see a problem, if its just normal hair on the chest and stomach then i wouldnt worry about it i think its pretty sexy! Some women dont like too much hair, but if its just normal its nothing to get het up about, alot of women that i speak to do prefer the hair as they think its manly and so do i.
Do whats right for you and not what you think others want to see! Its all about self confidence and what makes you feel good!
Take care x

BUT NOTHING turns me off more than a guy who has less hair than me, or spends more time in the bathroom than me etc. I don't know how old you are. But if your young I think it makes you look more mature, either way I think it shows ruggedness and toughness in a guy. But if you don't want to look like that. that's ok. Whatever you feel comforatble with. It's not about what other people think it's about what YOU think and FEEL.Maybe if you think it's too hairy but don't want to go completely bare you could just thin it out a bit. go to a pro waxer and tell them you want it less hairy but not so bare.
