I have a crush on my math teacher (hes a graduate student) and I am in college- so he cant be too many years apart from me im guessing 2-5. I know I will not pursue it because it is unprofessional and I know I probably like him just because he is a power figure at this moment in time ( I am staying in reality for the most part) But my question is.. I work INCREDIBLLY HARD in and out of the class- taking notes researching doing assignments and every assignment I get back is graded pretty harshly by my teacher. He writes nice commments and always makes eye contact and hands back my paper first, remembers my name and we have little side conversations but regardless of my work as a student- hes nicer to me in person.. does this mean he wants me to come visit him in office hours? ( Ive already gone to other tutors and I feel I understand the material well-but he grades me especailly hard)Does he really want my attention to come in? I would.. but I dont want to tempt myself or play a game... I would be pretty nervous actually visiting him in office hours and I would have an awefully hard time focusing on the math... on my own i focus very well- also with others help I can focus... what do you think? Or am i just imagining this?

I know it's not the same but when I was 12 I developed a crush on a teacher then I got more and more involved with him over years and fell in love with him, I'm nearly 17 now heartbroken and a mess. He got married, he has feelings for me but he will never act on them. If you feel there is a definate possibility that you and him will work out go for it, but otherwise I'd stear clear before things get intense.
