In class he acts like a Lecturer but out of class he is like our friend.During short breaks between our class (one lesson is 3 hours), he often chat with me and there were many times where he will say I'm so cute till my friends made fun of me because of that. When the sem ends I was devastated by the fact that I couldn't see him anymore. So I often come to college during his free time just to ask him random question i can think of for a few mins and that made me really happy. After finding out he will be teaching me next sem made me so happy till I literally did a happy dance. Nobody knows about this and I find this feeling I have for him really disgusting. He is a lecturer and I pretty sure he wouldn't fall for me. I just can't help myself from feeling this way. I don't know what to do to stop this feeling.

Most schools have a policy against faculty fraternizing with students; and if anything happens inappropriately, or too much gossip gets around school, it could mean his job.It is inappropriate for him to be flirting with you by calling you "cute." If some chatty gossipy student mentions these things in front of one of his colleagues, he could be reprimanded, if not fired. Teachers also watch other teachers for inappropriate behavior with students, as well. There is more appropriate praise for a teacher to offer, and that would be limited to your performance; not your appearance. You should not be alone with a male teacher. You will not get into trouble. He will. Please keep your little visits limited.
