I also find it extremely hard to sleep on my own, so I need him at night time. Do you have any ideas on what I could do to concentrate on not missing him and also how to sleep alone? What I do is I skype my boyfriend and I fall asleep with him on call. I know the computer noise might bother you, (the lights you can cover if you're the type that can't sleep with lights,) but hearing him move around or just mutter sweet things to me while I'm falling asleep makes me feel a lot better. Not that it can replace him actually being there but this makes him being away more bearable

You're much luckier than me. I understand it so well. Believe me when i'm saying: long distance f****** sucks! Me and me fiance living far apart. After the last time we were on the trip for 2 weeks, it's been 3 months already. When i just got back from the trip, i felt like i was dying. But that feeling's gone after 3 weeks. My advice is set up a meetup for you both, then you have a spot to look forward. Look at your both's pics and listen to your songs before going to bed. Simply text him goodnight or ring him for a goodnight call before falling asleep. Hope that helps. But honestly, you both should find a way to be physically together by one moving to the other. If this keeps lasting long, it'd damage your relationship.
Good luck!
