Although it wasn't wanted I was really upset and had ended up wanting it. Now I'm 19 and pregnant again and think I'm about 5 weeks as my last period ended on the 19th november so I'm unsure. I'm really worried about miscarrying again. Is there a high risk as it has happened before? And would I be able to get an early scan atvthe end of January as I think my doctors would only see me about it when I'm around 12 weeks. I'm really worried and don't know what to do as I can't stop thinking about what could happen. Thanks for any replies

If it's negative, but you still haven't had your period in a week, then go to the doctor and have a blood pregnancy test. They just draw blood, it's more accurate that way. If you end up pregnant, go to the docotor immediately with your news, and express your concerns. Do not drink, smoke, or join in activities where there could be jostling or impact of any form. Get prenatal vitamins right away any drug store or even walmart and target will have them. If you are 5 or 6 weeks pregnant then I warn you that the baby probably will not come up on an ultrasound, unless the ultrasound machine is really poweful and can depict something of that size. The baby is just too small sometimes. They can usually see the baby by 8 weeks, however the doctor may send you to the hopsital because they often have stronger ultrasound machines. I hope that helps and my best wishes for you and your maybe baby. Remember when you take a pregnancy test to test with the first pee of the morning to make sure it's accurate. (more hormones in it, im guessing because your bladder hasnt been emptied all night?) Anyways good luck!

The best thing to do is go to the doctor and have a health check up and ask all those questions. I know a few cases where one woman had several miscarriages after her first, but at the same time I know a woman who had a miscarriage and went on to have twins. I@m sure you are very worried, but the best thing to do would be to speak to a doctor and talk. You live in the UK, so treatment is free.
