You are not in love with your boyfriend...
Sometimes people make huge mistakes, which they regret, it does not mean to say they will do it again just because they have done it once as alot of people will tell you, having said that it will only work if you can forgive and forget.

Its taken him a year to realise this? Are you sure he hasnt had a bit of fun away from you, his latest relationship hasnt worked out & he wants back now?
Not too sure i would take the gamble with him to be honest, but only you can decide that. And you do have a child with him.
