I didn't dream about who the real father was but I remember being happy to be pregnant but crushed that it wasn't his.A little background on our relationship... We've been together for 8 months and we are very much in love. We get along great, but I work a lot and I don't get to see him as much as I'd like. We are planning to move in together in a couple of months when my lease is up. We have talked in general terms about marriage, kids, and our future. I'm in my late 20s and he is in his mid 30s so I'd prefer to have kids in the next 5 years, but we haven't talked about a timeline. As I'm writing this, I'm thinking that pregnancy might be about my desire to be bonded with him. The part about it not being his baby might be about my feelings of insecurity over our current situation. What do you guys think it means?

You're totally right. Think of it like this.
The baby represents the birth of a new RS.
Not being his shows you are afraid he is not in the picture in the present.
You may be afraid that you will not move in together, that the RS will not go like a planned pregnancy. Even you saying you've been together for 8 months. The baby is soon due and you're feeling like it may not get born.
You're already pushing and your not even in the delivery room.
Take it easy.. if you move in together get a fish or a cat.
Stop talking about the future, about babies talk about fish food or guppies or fried egg sandwiches with ketchup.
You're going to miss these amazing years of growing up together, forget the diapers and the depends. Get a bottle of tequila and a new sofa. And above all worship your sleeping years, there will be none once the kids show up with crayons..

(im preg. with my fourth, had dreams every time) but i dont think having a dream that its not his means anything, except maybe just a fear you have/ would have... my advice.. dont cheat! or use good birth control if your going to cheat..
