What have I been doing since I left School, (ten years ago). He is in his 50's now and still as handsome. I am meeting him on Friday for a drink. Should I tell him about my crush or just forget the past? Then show him the adult I am today, I have a college degree, steady job and and a 3 year old. So I would say if something did happen, it would be OK? Or is this a bad idea. I'm separated from my child's father before anyone asks. He is divorced.

You could tell him, no harm in that, but it may make things very awkward indeed. Going for a drink with a former pupil doesn't seem like a normal thing to do, so maybe he has already got that impression from you, but really do you want to date someone so much older than you?

Depends on how things are travelling and what direction they take. He may see the funny side of things or he may not. Cant see the harm myself but I take things light hearted.

Let it go. Personally, I think the age gap is too big for you to be in compatible life stages and I think it's a bad idea to date former teachers. Even meeting him for a drink sounds a bit iffy to me, but to each their own.
