Question - (11 March 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 13 March 2011)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I really like one of my best friends brother.

He's a year younger than me but very mature for his age.

I liked him two years ago but I was very deluded, my best friend was fine with it then, it actually made us really close.

I got over him.

But now I like him again.

I told a few of my friends, including the one who's brother it is.

I don't think my friends coping with it as well as she did before, she's diagnosed with clinical depression recently and I can't get through to her.

Her brother is a genuinely lovely and I really like him and this time I'm sure its not a deluded crush, I REALLY REALLY like him.

Both his Mum and my friend who's his sister have said he wouldn't want an older girl right now.

He also got a girlfriend about a week ago, which has upset me.

I don't have any friends who I'm really close to who I can talk to.

I don't know what to do, I've tried ignoring my feelings but I can't.

How can I go about liking him? Its very awkward and I just want to get over him.

Libra1963 agony auntIf you like someone tell let them know discreetly. If he is in a relationship, you have to decided if you want to embarrass yourself.

We only live once and its always best to live know that you tried that in regret.
