writes: Hello.I go to Explorer Scouts and I have a crush on a fellow Explorer. She is really cool and pretty, and really likes me, but more as a friend (I think), though she always leans on etc, which is lovely.The problem is, she's a year older than me. I know it doesn't make a difference, but I reckon in reality she might get embarrassed going out with a boy a year younger than her. By the way, I'm Year 9 and she's Year 10. I hope this sparks some answers, because I don't think many people my age comment on this website, but I don't really know who to ask.Thanks.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 April 2008): Well if she likes you.. and you like her.. then there should be no problem. Yeah i guess some girls get bothered about going out with younger guys. But if she likes you then she's probably not bothered about the age!!
Just try talking to her some more and find out if she has a boyfriend or if she likes anyone and that might be a good chance to tell her that you like her.
