What kind of woman do men really prefer? I get absoluty no attention from guys except for the occasional goofy guy who comes up to make me smile. They will stare at me, but never a single word. My bf gets load of attention after we decided to reinvent his look.I'm so happy for him, but hey I'd like to know I'm attractive too! I already know he's a cutey and he know now too.

I'm studying to be a beautician, so why does it seem I scare men rather than attract them. I'd just like to know what's wrong with me? I always dress nice wherever I go. I wear attractive dresses, walk well in high heels, and have long hair, maybe it's not blonde, but grief! I guess guys are over the the age when girls dressed up, maybe the prefer the cute little girls with pixie cuts ,jeans and tennyshoes?

Maybe I'm to much of an extreme, I am an artist and artist tend to get crazy, I mean you name the dress and era I've done it, from me devil ages, to Breakfast at Tiffany's. I have lot's of fun changing my look as long as it stays girly and femmine.

Just give me some hints, what are guys really looKing for in a girl as far as being attractive(this could help my career)?. Maybe they prefer a certain dress or hair cut, or maybe they don't like two toned hair? Mine has grown out since I died it black, so now it's a bit diffent, goldenbrown with black, maybe I seem like a hard core punk or something?

StonePrincess agony auntThank you two for your help. And yes I shouldn't worry about other guys if I have a guy, but it's still nice to know you're attractive, especially if your date is(I worry I'm not pretty enough for him sometimes, and maybe other guys seeing it would somehow make him see it). But I guess he's just blessed. Yeah I've always wanted to do costume makep, and I do every year for a big Halloween thing.

Thanks girls!

There's nothing wrong with you. Thing is, you sound like a very strong individual - and nothing wrong with that. However, the average guy will likely feel intimidated and not approach you. But you've got a boyfriend, why do you want them to approach you? I don't get that. You don't sound like a run-of-the-mill beautician though - sorry, but they tend to be fairly standard in my experience (apologies to any beauticians!) What about using your talents in a similar area - make up artist, costume artist, etc? I think you'd be more likely to meet similar minded people if you go into those areas.
